Comedian george Lopez is next up for the late-night talk show scene.
According to reports, Lopez will start a new talk show in November, which will air Monday through Thursday at 11 p.m.
Lopez, who promises an outdoor street-party atmosphere for the show, starred for six seasons in his ABC sitcom 'George Lopez.'
"I think those other shows are great, but I don't watch them. I don't feel like there's anything there for me," Lopez told the Daily News Tuesday. "I don't think it takes away from what the other guys are doing. I just don't think they cater to huge sectors of the population, like Latinos, people of color and females."
He's getting into late-night at a time of change, with Conan O'Brien taking over NBC's "Tonight" show in June and Jimmy Fallon now hosting NBC's "Late Night," reports the New York Times.
Lopez's show, which will be based in Los Angeles, will feature celebrity guests, comedy and music.
