While Miss America is reportedly out at TLC, the pageant business continues to thrive for NBC.

According to reports issued Monday, both Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants will be seen on NBC for at least three more years, thanks to a recently signed deal.

The deal, which runs through 2012, was signed by Donald Trump amidst what some are calling a renewed interest in beauty pageants.

“There’s been renewed interest in this series of beauty pageants, especially among a new generation of younger viewers,” Paul Telegdy, of NBC told press. “NBC is proud to maintain this unique American cultural tradition as a viable series of competitive programming specials that continue to be a popular source of entertainment.”

Adrienne Bailon is taking a trip to church in the forthcoming film ‘I’m In Love With A Church Girl”.

Helmed by Reverence Gospel Media, Bailon is slated to appear as the girlfriend of rapper Ja Rule, who, in the film, plays a drug dealer that must choose between a life on the straight and narrow or a return to the streets.

According to All Hip Hop, the film will be directed by Steve Race, with production starting this spring.

Experienced with film and television, Bailon and Rule have previously appeared in films including ‘Cheetah Girls,’ ‘The Cookout’ and ‘Back In The Day’.

The wait is just about over for Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s “Telephone” music video.

First slated for premiere in November, “Telephone” is now scheduled to make its debut on E! Thursday,March 11.

Described as a “true pop event” by Lady Gaga, “Telephone” follows the Grammy Award winner’s massive single “Bad Romance”.

According to E!, the video will premiere on E! news at 11:30pm March 11. An online premiere will take place shortly after on Vevo.com.

After topping the Aussie charts in 2006 and 2007, Rihanna reclaims her throne atop the ARIA singles chart thanks to “Rude Boy” this week.

Her fourth number one, “Rude Boy” follows previous Australian hits “SOS,” “Umbrella” and “Don’t Stop The Music.”

“Rude Boy” jumped Jason Derulo’s growing single “In My Head” to claim the top spot. The single is also followed by David Guetta and Kid Cudi’s “Memories”

Sticking with ABC, Ortiz is now set to star in the forthcoming pilot ‘True Blue’.

A drama, ‘True Blue’ follows a group of detectives based in San Francisco, who unite to solve the murder of one of their own. Ortiz is set to star as a civilian secretary at the precinct.

Selena Gomez has a new gig thanks to a last minute adjustment made by producers of the forthcoming film ‘Monte Carlo’.

According to industry insiders, Gomez has been asked to replace award-winning actress Nicole Kidman due to headhunters looking for a more youthful spin.

Originally set to follow four women traveling from New Jersey to Monaco, where they pose as heiresses, ‘Monte Carlo’ has now been adapted to focus on a group of college and high school girls traveling from Paris,France.
